Sound-wise, “Do Piekła” presents a more powerful and detailed character, where raw, energetic production meets the spaciousness and dynamics of live studio material. The basic cuisine of cold wave anxiety, along with the drums, keeps everything together, while the guitar introduces expressive, aggressive riffs and sharp edges. The saxophone plays a key role, drawing on the avant-garde jazz of John Zorn and James Chance, while the whole remains deeply rooted in the anarcho-punk tradition of Crass, Confused, The Ex, and the pulsating energy of NoMeansNo.
